Hong Kong

Shot for Passion Passport

Story by Wesley Verhoeve February 17th, 2016

The good folks at Passion Passport and Cathay Pacific invited me along for an amazing trip to Hong Kong and Myanmar. It’s truly a privilege to be amongst this group of talented, kind individuals and adventure together. I have put together a few quick shots from our first day below. For more, follow along on Instagram and check back in tomorrow for shots from our second day.

Reclamation Street Market

We met up with Maggie and Anita, co-founders of guide company Sam the Local and ventured out to a opulent and lively market on Reclamation Street in Kowloon. A few stalls, vendors, and customers below.

Ferry To The Island

When we had a moment of free time, a few of us jumped onto the ferry to visit the island of Hong Kong itself.

These five shiba inus are apparently quite famous and even have a book deal. Of course.

Tin-Hau Temple

It wasn’t prudent to shoot inside of the temple, but I captured some people outside in the courtyard.

The Back Alleys

Riley and I went off to play the “which street seems most interesting” game, turning and weaving at will. Most of the streets that had our interest turned out to be long and dark alley ways.
